Sales Engineer

About the Role

As a Sales Engineer, you play a vital role in driving the success of our product. Collaborating closely with sales executives, your focus is strategically planning and executing complex deals, serving as the primary technical resource in customer engagements.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and hands-on demos to prospects that effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our product, including differentiations from other solutions.
  • Lead the proof of value (POV) process for the customers, from onboarding, implementation to prove the Reco value to customers.
  • Act as the primary technical resource in prospects engagements, providing insights and solutions to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate directly with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute complex deals throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, and Big Data.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, continuously enhancing expertise to provide informed guidance to clients.
  • Translate technical aspects of the roadmap into client-friendly language, ensuring effective communication with clients and prospects.



Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, or in pre-sale roles.
  • Proven track record in selling SaaS Security / Cyber Security / Information Security solutions, demonstrating a solid understanding of cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and DevOps practices.
  • Comfortable working independently and thriving in a startup environment.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easily understandable manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability and expertise in understanding customers' pain and needs.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Adaptability to learn and assimilate new technologies quickly.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and events.
